Unfairtobacco.org is campaigning against environmental destruction and human rights violations in tobacco growing. We are seeking an intern for our webteam. The webteam has its office in Halle, Germany. Therefore, your workplace would be in Halle, not at our headquarters in Berlin.
Your profile:
- Strong interest in developmental issues
- Command of stylistically appropriate German or English
- Student: Humanities, economics, communication studies, media studies, linguistics or geography (bachelor above 5th semester, or masters’ studies)
- Self-reliant approach of work
- Good communicative skills
- Good knowledge of English (reading / listening)
- Competent handling of Openoffice/Libreoffice or other office programmes
Your tasks:
- Scientific research
- Writing of articles and news for the website Unfairtobacco.org (e.g. press releases or articles on tobacco growing countries, tobacco companies, corporate social responsibility, environmental destruction)
- Support of our social media campaign (facebook, twitter)
- Planning of your own project (e.g. an event)
- General office tasks
