- Keep yourself informed about the latest news on tobacco farming around the world on our website and share this information with your friends.
- Boycott the tobacco industry and its products- for example by stopping smoking.
- Effect a direct impact by only purchasing products that are produced under fair working conditions. These can be found in worldshops owned by companies such as GEPA or El Puente. Products displaying the Fairtrade label in supermarkets also certify that these were produced without exploiting people.
- Build a network with other people and devise creative and non-violent means of campaigning. Stickers, stencils, flyers, shirts, adbusting are all fun ways of disseminating information. Further suggestions and means of campaigning can be found on www.go-stop-act.de (in German)
- Contact your local Member of Parliament and talk to them about some of the consequences of tobacco farming, such as child labour, exploitation and environmental destruction. Tell them about the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) and prompt them to act on it.

The tobacco industry´s products primarily seek to appeal to young consumers. You could show that the exploitation of people and the destruction of natural resources does not leave you indifferent, no matter where this is taking place in the world.
